DESTINY BROWN
Founder & President of Gladdis Enterprises, Destiny is a community wellness advocate, organizer, and leader whose work advances health equity, reproductive and maternal health, housing justice, and community well-being in historically disinvested communities. As founder of the Dayton Tenant Union, she helped mobilize residents and drive systemic housing reforms that resulted in the City of Dayton committing more than $1 million annually toward local housing initiatives. She also serves as a certified Community Health Worker, trained Birth Doula, and creator of Prosperous Parenting — a program equipping parents with practical tools for navigating hardship and instability.
Currently a community organizer with Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE) in Dayton, Ohio, Destiny has been nationally recognized by the National Low Income Housing Coalition for her leadership in tenant organizing and systems change. Grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience, she brings authenticity, compassion, and a people-centered approach to empowering individuals and communities to pursue lasting change.

Brand & Communications Director for Gladdis Enterprises, J’Hanna is a strategic communications leader with 20+ years of experience shaping brand narratives, driving stakeholder engagement, and delivering measurable impact across industries. As the Founder of Eleven17, LLC, she has partnered with more than 25 organizations to align story, strategy, and creative execution. Her work spans creative direction, brand identity, and multichannel media strategy, blending data-driven insight with purpose-driven storytelling that builds trust and authentic connection.
Throughout her career, J'Hanna has led campaigns featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show, directed a full-scale rebrand recognized in TIME Magazine's Inventions of the Year, and managed communications for a nonprofit whose multichannel campaign secured $6M in funding and national TV coverage. She is also the Founder & Editor of Renaissance Black Girl, a lifestyle publication celebrating motherhood, culture, and abundance through intentional storytelling. Whether she's guiding a brand transformation or building community through creative content, J'Hanna brings clarity, confidence, and purpose to every story she tells.
